Algebra Foundations Unit Test
26 questions, Medium difficulty and up — nothing easy here. Most questions deliberately combine two (or more) of the domain's 12 lessons in a single problem, the way a real contest problem often does: a Vieta's-formulas setup that needs an AM-GM bound to finish, a factoring identity buried inside a rate problem, a function composed with a quadratic. This isn't a substitute for the per-lesson practice — it's a genuine stress test of whether the material holds up once nothing is announcing which formula to reach for.
Before you start
Questions appear in a fixed mixed order, and none of them name the technique they want — no "using Vieta's formulas" or "by AM-GM" in the problem text itself, the same way an AMC problem never tells you which tool to use. Recognizing the right approach, and recognizing when a problem needs more than one, is itself part of what's being tested. Each question is tagged with every lesson it draws on (visible after you answer), so a pattern of misses points to exactly which lessons are worth revisiting.
Test
Same rules as every lesson quiz: up to three tries per question, then the full solution. Every answer here is a single number (an integer, fraction, or decimal, as the format hint under each question makes explicit).
